Virginia Air & Space Center
During my last visit to Virgina, USA, my son took me to see the center for NASA Langley Research Center and Langley Air Force Base. This world-class facility features the Adventures in Flight and Space Quest galleries and more than 100 “hands-on” exhibits that tell the story of air and space exploration.
It was quite fascinating to see the Apollo 12 Command Module, a Mars meteorite and a three-billion year-old moon rock! Make a crater, travel to Mars and fly an airplane. Unfortunately we could not see the technologically advanced 3D IMAX Theater and missed seeing a film on a five-story screen with 16,000 watts of digital-sound as I was very tired.
Here are some of the photographs taken during our visit. Since it was hard for me to visit the exhibits walking, my son insisted me to sit on a wheelchair and took me around.
